Fundamental 1. serving as, or being an essential part of, a foundation or basis; basic; underlying. “You gotta crawl before you walk,” while a cliche, is a widely known fact. You don’t start a job before you train or read before you learn your letters. Active Fundamentals is your crawl. So many people want nothing more than to make changes in their lives by starting an exercise routine but there really isn’t anything out there to support them. Most “beginner” classes aren’t actually for beginners. These classes normally operate under the assumption there is prior knowledge/experience in the field of exercise. In Active Fundamentals there are no assumptions. People may know a squat by definition but what muscles are involved, how does a squat feel, is there a safe space to practice and master the squat? That’s what Active fundamentals provides, a space to be vulnerable, ask questions, and develop. Following the same small group format as Active Groups you’ll finally get what you need to go after your goals! It’s impossible to start a race from the finish. Active Fundamentals is your start to a different you.
